Senior Manager – Concrete Design & Precast Engineering

About the role

The Senior Manager – Concrete Design & Precast Engineering will lead the design, engineering and technical development of concrete and precast products such as PCCP, BWSC pipes, RCC pipes and railway sleepers. The role supports manufacturing plants across India, ensuring engineering standards, technology transfer and high product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural and technical design of precast concrete products, including pipes, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls and water tanks.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, technical specifications and design calculations, ensuring compliance with IS, IRS, RDSO and other applicable standards.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing plants, standardise processes, troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements in materials and equipment.
• Establish product quality standards, testing protocols and SOPs, driving continuous improvement in quality and performance.
• Oversee preparation of engineering documentation and coordinate with zonal heads, factory managers and project managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural/Concrete Technology preferred).
• 12–18 years of experience in design and manufacturing of concrete and precast products.
• Strong expertise in precast concrete design, reinforcement detailing and concrete technology.
