Project Engineer – Engineering Management

About the role

The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager in delivering assigned projects, ensuring that engineering deliverables are produced on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with project execution, proposal preparation and coordination.
• Coordinate technical contract reviews before and after order acceptance.
• Prepare and compile Engineering and Resource Plans with inputs from Lead Engineers.
• Develop project execution procedures and supporting documents as required.
• Maintain engineering coordination, interface with project control, and track external interactions with clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Follow up with disciplines, specialist groups and other agencies to release engineering deliverables on schedule.
• Track document approvals from customers/PMC and provide timely updates to the Project Manager.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Management System documentation and compile project quality records.
• Draft minutes of meetings, conduct Toolbox Meetings and monitor required actions.
• Update monthly man‑hours, project schedule, change‑order register and monitor quantities.
• Prepare project close‑out dossiers and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and project controls.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation, schedules and change orders.
• Attention to detail in tracking approvals, quality records and project close‑out activities.
