Senior Logistics Coordinator – Transportation & Warehouse

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipments of analytical instruments, spare parts, and consumables worldwide. You will act as the bridge between customers, freight partners, and internal teams, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of critical scientific products.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders and coordinate transportation using advanced Transportation Management Systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee warehouse operations related to shipments.
• Generate shipment reports, monitor delivery status, and resolve any logistics issues.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, export controls, and hazardous‑material documentation.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, 3PL providers, and internal stakeholders to optimize routes and costs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation and 3PL environments.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and handle high‑volume, time‑critical shipments.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Independent worker who also thrives in a collaborative team setting.
