Senior Legal Manager – Litigation & Contract Specialist

About the role

The Senior Legal Manager will lead the organization’s legal function, overseeing litigation, contract management, regulatory compliance, and advisory services. This senior position works closely with internal business units and external counsel to protect the company’s legal and commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, practical legal advice on regulatory, contractual, employment, corporate, and compliance matters.
• Partner with business leaders to assess legal risks of strategic initiatives, investments, and expansion plans.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain a wide range of contracts, including commercial agreements, supply contracts, lease documents, joint venture and financing documents.
• Develop standardized contract templates, governance practices, and approval mechanisms.
• Manage all litigation, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution matters, coordinating with external counsel and monitoring case progress.
• Maintain litigation records, provide regular risk updates to senior management, and drive proactive dispute avoidance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and support the continuous improvement of internal legal policies and governance processes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level legal expertise with strong experience in litigation management, contract drafting and negotiation, conveyancing, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to evaluate legal implications of business decisions and recommend balanced mitigation strategies.
• Proven track record of working with internal stakeholders and external counsel to protect organizational interests.
