Senior Java Full Stack Engineer – Data & Analytics (Bangalore)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to join its Data & Analytics Advisory team in Bengaluru. You will design, build and modernise enterprise‑grade micro‑services and front‑end applications on Azure, helping clients turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modernise Java 17/21 micro‑services using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Spring Security.
• Implement event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka and gRPC.
• Build responsive front‑ends with React or Angular and integrate them via REST APIs.
• Create and maintain data pipelines and integration layers using SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure (AKS, App Service, DevOps) with Docker containers.
• Ensure code quality through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (JUnit, Mockito) and vulnerability remediation.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Java development (Java 8 or newer).
• Strong background in Spring Boot, micro‑services architecture and cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with front‑end frameworks (React or Angular) and RESTful services.
• Proficiency with SQL databases and data integration concepts.
• Experience working in an Agile, client‑focused environment.
