Senior Java Developer (UK Shift) – Chennai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Chennai office. The role operates on a UK shift (2 PM – 11 PM IST) and involves building and maintaining enterprise‑grade Java applications using modern frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable Java applications.
• Implement solutions with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Develop UI components using JSF and frameworks such as PrimeFaces, RichFaces, or IceFaces.
• Write efficient SQL queries and manage deployments on Tomcat.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and code reviews.
• Collaborate within a small, agile development team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with JSF and at least one UI framework (PrimeFaces, RichFaces, IceFaces).
• Willingness to work the UK shift and be present onsite five days a week.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
