Senior IT Support Engineer – S/4 Project

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to lead the implementation of the target environment for its S/4 projects in Coimbatore. You will act as the bridge between project leads and local teams, ensuring smooth rollout, data cleansing, and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the target environment based on the end‑to‑end process portfolio.
• Manage project goals, deliverables and risk mitigation at the location.
• Coordinate local S/4 project team, including key users, power users and OCM resources.
• Facilitate communication between wave project leads and local associates.
• Support readiness guidelines, data cleansing and process standardisation.
• Validate process, migration and test scope; approve migration and test results.
• Oversee cut‑over, change management and training activities.
• Escalate issues to local management and regional coordinators as needed.
• Maintain key‑user structure after Go‑Live for stabilization and run‑phase support.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Science, Production, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (MBA or Master's advantageous).
• 7+ years of experience in business processes, IT applications, Industry 4.0 and digitalisation in plant environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams.
• Professional project‑management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP (S/4) implementation and support.
• IT infrastructure management.
