Senior IT Executive

About the role

The Senior IT Executive will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security and performance across systems and networks. This role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on technical expertise to support business operations and drive innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain system and network availability, monitoring performance and resolving incidents within agreed SLA.
• Oversee system installations, including hardware and software deployment.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting and timely issue resolution.
• Implement and manage system security measures and data‑recovery plans.
• Provide training, knowledge transfer and crisis support to internal teams.
• Support internal audit by maintaining accurate documentation and evidence.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand operational requirements.
• Manage end‑user escalations, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Delegate tasks, supervise operations and prevent escalations.
• Stay current with technology trends and arrange refresher training for the team.
• Explore process automation, innovation and new technology adoption.
• Maintain data‑centre and cloud infrastructure requirements.
• Validate system patching and backup processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant technical certifications in networking, server administration or cloud platforms.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• High energy, problem‑solving mindset and flexibility.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to new technologies.
• Proven capability to lead and manage an IT team.
