Senior iOS Engineer – Payments

About the role

Grab India is expanding its Payments ecosystem and is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join the PaySDK mobile team. You will work on the flagship Grab app, building high‑impact features that serve millions of users across Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable iOS components and features based on clear project requirements.
• Own the quality of your code – ensure it is readable, maintainable, well‑tested, and uses appropriate data structures and algorithms.
• Participate in design reviews, implement monitoring and alerting, and uphold Operational Excellence standards.
• Provide constructive feedback during code reviews and respond promptly to issues.
• Communicate technical solutions and updates effectively to stakeholders and partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on iOS.
• Strong understanding of iOS system fundamentals, object‑oriented programming, and test‑driven development.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Swift programming language.
• iOS development frameworks and paradigms (OOP, TDD, reactive patterns, dependency injection).
• Architectural patterns such as Clean Architecture, RIB, VIPER, or MVVM.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and performance optimisation.
