Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will join the Internal Audit team supporting Hyatt’s hotel audit activities, SOX compliance and enterprise audit projects across the EAME region. Working under the direction of the Internal Audit Director and Manager, the role requires independent judgment, extensive travel and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end internal audit engagements, from planning and risk assessment to fieldwork and reporting.
• Evaluate internal controls, financial processes and operational procedures across hotel properties and corporate functions.
• Identify key risks and deliver practical, value‑added recommendations to improve controls and performance.
• Present audit findings to senior hotel management and corporate leadership.
• Partner with stakeholders to track remediation efforts and validate corrective actions.
• Leverage data‑analytics and AI‑powered tools to enhance audit quality and insights.
• Develop deep knowledge of hotel operations, systems and financial workflows.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to audit methodology improvements.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of full‑time experience in auditing, accounting or a related field; Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
• Preferred certifications: CPA, CIA, CFE or Chartered Accountant.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal); additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel 60‑80% internationally with minimal visa restrictions.
