Senior HR Partner – Corporate HR

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Senior HR Partner to provide high‑judgment HR support to managers and senior leaders across the Corporate HR Partner Organization. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging deep knowledge of HR policies, processes and regional programs to deliver personalized employee experiences and drive large‑scale initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers on complex performance‑management cases, including performance‑improvement plans and bias‑free evaluations.
• Handle sophisticated employee‑relations investigations, grievance processes and mediation, collaborating with Legal and Employee Relations teams.
• Guide managers through talent and performance‑management processes, people‑development initiatives and organizational changes at country or regional level.
• Identify trends and emerging HR needs, providing insights and solutions to mitigate risk.
• Mentor junior HR team members and contribute to best‑practice development across the region.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Partner, preferably in a large, fast‑moving organization.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee‑relations, performance‑management and talent‑development frameworks.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage sensitive, complex employee issues.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret HR data, spot trends and recommend improvements.
• Effective communication and coaching skills, with a focus on delivering a positive employee experience.
