Senior HR Generalist – Bangalore

About the role

We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our Bangalore team. In this role you will act as a trusted HR advisor, driving HR system adoption, supporting managers, and ensuring smooth HR operations across multiple functions.

Key responsibilities

• Enable and drive adoption of HR systems (e.g., HCM, HR Direct) and promote manager self‑service capability.
• Provide primary HR advice to managers on employee relations, policy interpretation, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Coach and upskill managers in performance conversations, engagement, and development planning.
• Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and Performance Improvement Plans.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to expedite hiring, manage position validation, offers, and escalations.
• Monitor HR metrics, identify trends and risks, and recommend improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for complex HR issues and collaborate with HR Services and Centers of Excellence.
• Handle employee relations matters and investigations, ensuring compliance and fairness.
• Work with regional HR and CoE teams to execute critical assignments and maintain alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to simplify HR processes and enhance user experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist supporting diverse functions.
• Experience in a matrixed HR organization collaborating with Shared Services, CoEs, Talent Acquisition and business leaders.
• Strong knowledge of Indian employment laws and HR practices.
• Experience in regional or multi‑country HR environments (preferred).
• Familiarity with HR systems and analytics platforms.
• Proven ability to influence, coach and advise managers at various levels.
