Senior Healthcare Support Worker – Orthopedic & Outpatient

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our Orthopedic and Main Outpatient nursing team. You will deliver both clinical and non‑clinical duties under the guidance of the Senior Nursing team, supporting a busy outpatient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out delegated clinical tasks and non‑clinical support activities.
• Assist the Orthopedic & Main Outpatient department in delivering safe patient care.
• Complete the SVQ Level 3 programme while on the job.
• Meet mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.
• Adhere to the NHS Code of Conduct throughout employment.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
• Genuine interest in working within a busy Orthopedic & Outpatient setting.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is desirable.
• Willingness to pursue SVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Commitment to meet induction standards and follow professional codes.
