Senior Hardware Engineer – EMI/EMC Validation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer to lead EMI/EMC and product safety validation for air‑conditioner products. The role involves defining validation strategies, managing hardware test setups, and ensuring product quality through comprehensive verification and compliance testing.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute validation strategies for component, PCBA, and system levels.
• Set up and maintain hardware benches, SIT setups, and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, environmental chambers, signal generators, and EMI receivers.
• Perform EMI/EMC compliance testing and safety, reliability, and performance tests.
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot hardware defects, and produce validation matrices, test plans, and execution reports.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for hardware validation, EMI/EMC compliance, safety, and system integration testing.

Required profile

• BE in Electronics, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• 6–8 years of experience in hardware validation and system integration testing for new product development.
• Strong background in hardware testing standards and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Willingness to travel within and outside India for project needs.

Required skills

• EMI/EMC compliance knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes, environmental chambers, signal generators, and EMI receivers.
• Embedded hardware testing at component, PCBA, and system levels.
• PCBA design and system integration expertise.
• Hardware validation, test plan development, and validation matrix creation.
