Senior Hardware Engineer – Controls

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Controls Hardware Engineer with strong knowledge of circuit design, component selection and related documentation. The role involves managing circuit modules, maintaining component databases and coordinating VAVE efforts across sites.

Key responsibilities

• Manage circuit modules, create documentation, and maintain the component database while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Work with procurement on controls, PCBA and electronic components, aligning with global strategy to reduce complexity and accelerate product development.
• Develop supplier roadmaps, preferred supplier lists and technology roadmaps, including module/component libraries.
• Establish VAVE and quality‑improvement pipelines, track progress and share results across the organization.
• Define and monitor KPIs for Manufacturing Validation Testing (MVT) and lead benchmarking initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Electronics and Communication (or equivalent).
• 7‑10 years of experience in hardware circuit design and component selection.
• Hands‑on experience developing embedded controls for consumer or HVAC products.
• Willingness to travel within and outside India for project needs.
• Project management, communication and value‑analysis skills.
