Senior Generative AI Engineer – SAP & Planning Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and scale production‑grade GenAI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes across enterprise planning, consolidation, forecasting, and reporting. The role bridges cutting‑edge AI innovation with SAP and finance ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI applications using Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic and open‑source LLMs.
• Build enterprise copilots and conversational agents integrated with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and Dataverse.
• Implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation pipelines with vector databases such as Azure AI Search, OpenSearch or Pinecone.
• Integrate AI solutions with SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BPC, Analytics Cloud and Anaplan via APIs, BTP services and event‑driven workflows.
• Create secure API layers (REST/GraphQL) ensuring data governance, compliance and performance.
• Collaborate with SAP functional, finance and platform teams to align AI use cases with month‑end insights, variance analysis, forecasting support and decision‑support copilots.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale AI solutions in finance or planning domains.
• Strong understanding of SAP data models (ADSO, ODS, Composite Providers) and analytics pipelines.
• Ability to translate complex business problems into reliable LLM‑powered applications.

Required skills

• Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic or comparable LLM platforms.
• Microsoft Copilot Studio, M365, Teams, SharePoint, Dataverse.
• Vector search tools: Azure AI Search, OpenSearch, Pinecone.
• SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP S/4HANA, Anaplan.
• API design (REST, GraphQL), OData services, event‑driven architecture.
• Prompt engineering, function calling, structured output design.
