Senior Full-Stack Developer – Remote (India)

About the role

Ovation Law Firm is looking for a senior full‑stack developer to own, build, and optimise high‑traffic consumer‑facing web applications. You will work end‑to‑end on the stack, from front‑end interfaces to Node.js APIs, data pipelines and integrations, while mentoring teammates and collaborating across business units.

Key responsibilities

• Lead features from requirements gathering through deployment, maintenance and documentation.
• Design, develop and maintain production‑grade REST APIs with Node.js, Express, authentication, rate‑limiting and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Build responsive front‑end experiences using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox and CSS Grid while meeting Core Web Vitals.
• Integrate with MongoDB, SQLite, BigQuery and external systems such as Salesforce and marketing platforms.
• Implement analytics, attribution tracking, A/B testing and ETL processes for data warehouses.
• Administer Linux servers, Nginx, SSL certificates, CDN configuration and Node.js process management with PM2.
• Apply OWASP security best practices and ensure compliance with TCPA, CCPA and GDPR.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack development experience with end‑to‑end ownership of production systems.
• Strong backend expertise in Node.js, Express and REST API design, including authentication and documentation.
• Proficient front‑end skills in modern JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB, SQLite, BigQuery and ETL/data‑integration workflows.
• Practical knowledge of Linux administration, Nginx, SSL management, CDN setup and Git version control.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers, conduct code reviews and guide technical decisions.
