About the role
The global pharmaceutical company is expanding its India finance hub and seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial planning and analysis for a therapy‑area business unit. You will partner closely with commercial and R&D finance teams to shape decisions through proactive financial insight.
Key responsibilities
- Own monthly forecasting and variance analysis for the therapy area, including R&D spend trends.
- Build business cases for new product launches and portfolio investment decisions, working directly with commercial teams.
- Prepare the reporting pack for the global business unit's monthly review, delivering a clear narrative behind the numbers.
- Support annual budgeting across commercial, R&D and manufacturing cost centres.
- Improve existing financial models and templates as the hub takes on more complex analysis.
Required profile
- 5‑9 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or commercial finance.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or life‑sciences environments is a strong advantage.
- Strong financial modelling ability and sound judgment to flag risks early.
