Senior Finance Executive / Assistant Manager

About the role

Valeo is seeking a senior finance professional to support monthly closing, budgeting, and performance reporting across its global operations. The role combines analytical expertise with the ability to drive standardisation of management control tools.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in, understand, and challenge the monthly closing process.
• Provide variance analysis of monthly results versus budget and prior month for all P&L and activity lines.
• Prepare weekly financial performance reports and KPI dashboards (overdues, internal control).
• Lead corrective actions to bring performance back on track.
• Contribute to budget, multi‑year planning (MTP), and forecasting processes, including guidelines and templates.
• Develop and implement standard management control tools and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Resolve inter‑site disputes such as transfer pricing and R&D recharges.
• Conduct on‑site management control reviews and pre‑validate internal audit requests.
• Ensure deployment of group‑wide standard tools and approve e‑procurement requests.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance experience, preferably in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to explain variances and propose solutions.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and multi‑year planning processes.
• Knowledge of ethics and compliance standards.
