Senior Finance Controller – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Finance Controller to lead the Finance & Accounts function for a large manufacturing organization in Navi Mumbai. The role will work closely with the CFO and senior management, providing financial insight and control across all manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end finance and accounts operations, ensuring accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
• Drive product costing, cost analysis, profitability assessment and inventory valuation.
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting and preparation of management dashboards.
• Manage statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and coordinate internal, tax and cost audits.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, treasury activities and relationships with banks.
• Ensure effective use of SAP/ERP systems, championing automation and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Mentor the finance team and partner with plant, operations and senior leadership on financial performance.

Required profile

• 12‑18 years of finance and accounts experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting and manufacturing MIS.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Proven ability to work with senior management and drive financial controls.

Required skills

• SAP (or comparable ERP) proficiency.
