Senior Finance Controller – Analyst

About the role

The Finance Controller – Sr Analyst will oversee financial and operational control of engineering projects, ensuring budgets are met, resources are allocated efficiently, and financial regulations are complied with. This position bridges engineering and finance, providing data‑driven insights to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets for engineering sites, analyse variances and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast financial needs and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Implement KPI‑based cost‑control measures and conduct financial analysis for efficiency improvements.
• Prepare income statements, balance sheets, cash‑flow statements and assess project profitability, ROI and financial health.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations and internal policies.
• Work closely with engineering teams to align financial goals with project objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting and cost control, preferably in an engineering environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of accounting principles and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
