Senior External Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior External Auditor to lead audit engagements from start to finish. You will work closely with partners, staff, and clients to ensure high‑quality audit delivery while contributing to the development of our practice.

Key responsibilities

• Run smaller client engagements, handling planning, execution, direction, and completion of financial audits within budget.
• Prepare and review work papers, drafts of financial statements, and client deliverables such as management reports.
• Identify, discuss, and propose conclusions on technical areas of financial reporting and audit issues.
• Oversee audit fieldwork, participate in audit planning discussions, and devise appropriate audit strategies.
• Act as a primary client contact, exceeding expectations and providing recommendations for business and process improvements.
• Supervise, train, and mentor interns and junior staff throughout the audit process.
• Collaborate with the audit team to resolve client issues discovered during the audit.

Required profile

• Proven experience in external audit, including planning, directing, and completing audits.
• Experience supervising staff and mentoring junior team members.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with client management and internal stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
