Senior Executive, Warehousing & Transportation

About the role

The Senior Executive, Warehousing & Transportation will lead daily transportation planning, coordinate vehicle allocation and ensure on‑time deliveries across our network. This role combines strategic cost optimisation with hands‑on incident management to keep our logistics operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transportation activities and delivery routes.
• Coordinate vehicle allocation based on shipment priorities and capacity.
• Monitor dispatch operations and ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Optimise transportation costs, route efficiency and fleet utilisation.
• Liaise with transport vendors, drivers, warehouses and internal teams.
• Track shipments, resolve transportation‑related issues promptly and maintain MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, transportation laws and company policies.
• Analyse logistics performance metrics and suggest process improvements.
• Handle emergency transportation adjustments and escalation management.
• Plan inbound and outbound transport, combine orders for efficiency and manage unforeseen incidents.
• Drive route optimisation, vendor performance tracking and fleet utilisation initiatives.
• Develop transportation MIS dashboards, GPS tracking visibility and cost‑saving analyses.
• Standardise dispatch and documentation workflows.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in warehousing and transportation management.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Flexible working hours, including Saturdays, to meet operational demands.
• Strong coordination skills during peak shipment periods and urgent dispatches.
