Senior Executive – Fulfillment Center Operations

About the role

The Senior Executive will lead fulfillment centre operations for Flipkart across a region of large‑scale warehouses (approximately 300,000‑400,000 sq ft). The role focuses on driving operational excellence, cost efficiency and a culture of ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of multiple fulfillment centres, ensuring key metrics such as breach rates and MIS shipments are tracked and improved.
• Manage inventory and related assets, holding P&L accountability for the region.
• Lead the operationalisation of new fulfilment centres and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives in partnership with the central FC OD team.
• Collaborate with Logistics and Retail teams to optimise the regional distribution network.
• Design regional organisational structures and drive the adoption of new technologies, systems and processes.
• Ensure cost‑effective warehousing, maintain 5S and Lean standards, and conduct regular Kaizen activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in large‑scale warehouse or fulfilment centre management.
• Strong track record of delivering operational improvements and managing P&L.
• Ability to build high‑performing teams and foster a culture of empowerment.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on key performance indicators.
