Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

KONE India is seeking a senior finance professional to act as a trusted business partner and lead financial controlling activities across the organization. You will provide strategic insights, ensure accurate reporting, and support planning and forecasting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand operational processes, metrics and financial implications.
• Evaluate industry, economic and market trends to forecast short‑, medium‑ and long‑term financial performance.
• Deliver actionable insights and executive summaries to senior leaders.
• Maintain and validate managerial and financial reporting, including volume, sales, RE50, R80 and KPI reporting.
• Analyze weekly and monthly performance versus budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting deviations and risks.
• Facilitate planning and forecasting by providing key financial parameters such as inflation, FX rates and wage assumptions.
• Ensure timely consolidation of plans and forecasts and adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Execute business controlling tasks, scenario analyses and contribute to the Business Controlling Community.

Required profile

• MBA in Finance (mandatory).
• CMA or CA Inter qualification is an advantage.
• 10–18 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a business controller role.
