Senior Engineer – Sub‑Frame Design

About the role

The Senior Engineer/Specialist will lead the design and development of sub‑frame structures, including frame carriers and extension brackets, for automotive projects. The role covers the full product lifecycle from concept through serial production, ensuring technical excellence, cost, quality and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development of frame carriers, sub‑frames and related components from concept to production.
• Create project plans, specifications and release documentation, manage PLM releases and BOM updates.
• Validate designs analytically and physically, interpret results and implement corrective actions.
• Support vehicle test and build activities, providing solutions to integration issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive chassis structural frame design, validation and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in UGNX and Teamcenter (PLM) is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• Fluent English and experience in multicultural environments.
