Senior Engineer - NBS Sales

About the role

KONE is looking for a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager to lead New Business Sales (NBS) in the elevator and escalator market. You will develop customer relationships, drive solution selling, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to order booking.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively develop and maintain customer relationships in your assigned area.
• Drive solution‑selling methodology with architects, developers, consultants and other influencers during early project phases.
• Demonstrate the value of KONE’s digital offerings to customers and influencers.
• Generate leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet sales budget and pricing targets.
• Identify customer needs and design tailored solutions, setting optimal market pricing.
• Coordinate with Customer Solutions Engineering during tendering and ensure smooth Sales‑to‑Operations handover.
• Validate order terms, quality and safety requirements and manage the project through to order booking.
• Support finance in money collection and provide accurate market and competitor reporting.

Required profile

• Engineering or M.B.A. background.
• 6‑10 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the elevator industry.
• Strong understanding of market trends in sales and marketing.
• Target‑oriented, self‑driven sales professional.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
