Senior Engineer – Front Line Manager (Shift Operations)

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Front Line Manager will lead shift operations for a value stream at Bosch's manufacturing site in Nashik. You will supervise shop‑floor associates, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive efficient value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Organise production set‑up according to the schedule and assign tasks to associates.
• Supervise shift activities, conduct safety and quality checks, and record shift events such as attendance, breakdowns, and quality issues.
• Track performance KPIs (OEE, FPY, scrap, tool life, leveling, fulfillment) and identify deviations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and execute corrective actions.
• Mentor entry‑level associates, coach shop‑floor staff, and maintain discipline and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production or shift management within an industrial environment.
• Strong ability to motivate and develop shop‑floor teams.
• Solid understanding of safety, quality, and shop‑floor standards.
• Capability to analyse performance data and drive corrective actions.
