Senior Engineer – Front Line Manager

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Front Line Manager will supervise shift operations of a value stream, lead shop‑floor associates and ensure efficient value creation while maintaining safety, quality and discipline on the production floor.

Key responsibilities

• Organise production set‑up according to the schedule, assign tasks and follow standard procedures, methods, BPS and work instructions.
• Conduct and document safety, quality and shop‑floor checks; record shift events such as attendance, breakdowns, quality issues and performance.
• Track production performance and efficiency KPIs (OEE, FPY, scrap, tool life, leveling, fulfilment) and identify deviations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional team members or escalate issues to define and execute corrective actions.
• Maintain IR and shop‑floor discipline, manage deviation handling and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising shift operations in an industrial environment.
• Ability to motivate and develop shop‑floor associates.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality and production standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving and performance‑management capabilities.
