Senior Engineer – Development Series Support

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to drive development projects and provide series support for automotive products at our Nashik location. The role involves ensuring engineering quality, managing customer sub‑projects and contributing to product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute development projects and series support, performing verification and release activities in line with BES_PE standards.
• Organise and deliver customer sub‑projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical inputs to resolve product issues, monitor quality metrics and report risks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of project‑management best practices and sustainable product development.
• Participate in product innovation and continuous process improvement, documenting inventions.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (essential).
• 1–2 years of experience in development, process engineering or quality.
• Strong analytical reasoning and practical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T.
• Good written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• GD&T and drawing interpretation.
• FMEA, ISO/TS 16949, and other quality tools.
• Statistical analysis.
• Pro/E or other CAD software for modelling and drafting.
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines and exhaust after‑treatment components.
• Risk assessment based on FMEA.
• Project management and independent project handling.
