Senior Engineer - Data Engineer

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Data Engineer will design, develop and maintain real‑time and cloud‑based software solutions. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop real‑time, cloud, web and mobile applications.
• Analyze domain‑specific requirements and adapt solutions to meet customer needs.
• Perform unit, functional and system testing, both manual and automated.
• Conduct code reviews, static analysis and troubleshoot moderate‑level software issues.
• Document specifications, design documents, test cases, release notes and other deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop software using established programming languages or learn new languages as required.

Required profile

• 4 to 8 years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of data technologies, cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Required skills

• SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• ETL tools and data warehousing solutions.
• Python programming.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS) or GCP.
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker.
• CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
• AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and awareness of Generative AI.
