Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager - NBS Installation

About the role

As a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager for NBS Installation at KONE, you will lead the delivery of elevator and escalator installation projects in Bhubaneswar, ensuring safety, quality and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise the installation project, including site preparation, material delivery, and use of KONE installation methods.
• Ensure site safety, environmental compliance, cost control and achievement of budget targets.
• Manage customer and subcontractor relationships, act as single point of contact, and drive customer satisfaction.
• Oversee final testing, hand‑over to maintenance and documentation of project progress.
• Lead the installation team, set objectives, monitor performance, and address training needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing installation projects in the elevator/escalator sector.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with ability to motivate site operatives.
• Good understanding of site safety, environmental aspects and financial accountability.
