Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Mechanical Design for New Braking System

About the role

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of new braking system components. The role involves creating detailed designs, performing analysis, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to deliver innovative safety solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design assemblies and components for new braking system products, including reservoirs, pedal‑interface parts and AT‑container BOMs.
• Conduct and document Finite Element Analysis, prepare FEA approach documents, verify analysis quality and resolve errors.
• Prepare and release 3D‑CAD data, detailed drawings and Bill of Materials using SAP.
• Apply Geometrical Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and perform tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Participate in supplier and plant SE reviews, incorporate requirements into designs and support successful product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in product component design, FEA and 3‑D modelling.
• Strong fundamentals in engineering mechanics, strength of materials and design calculations.
• Knowledge of DFMEA and competency in hydraulics and mechanics for brake systems.
