Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Design and Development

About the role

The purpose of this position is to develop and release BU products to customers according to set guidelines. The role involves close interaction with customers and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Execute product development for customer requirements, leading to product release and participation in alignment meetings.
• Provide engineering support during localisation, series topics, benchmarking and coordinate across functions to resolve issues and achieve cost reductions.
• Support innovation management by implementing novel topics and filing invention reports.
• Notify team coach about workload prioritisation, design issues, risks or deviations and obtain necessary support.
• Participate in discussions with experts and Centres of Competence within and outside Bosch to enhance competency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (Master’s degree desirable).
• 1–2+ years of experience in product development processes.
• Advanced knowledge of RB product development process and Bosch Engineering System.
• Understanding of standards, design, material, reliability, system and vehicle knowledge.
