Senior Embedded Software Engineer – AUTOSAR Memory Stack

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer specialized in Memory Stack (MEM) to join Bosch’s Automotive Software Engineering team in Bangalore. The role focuses on designing, developing, integrating and verifying AUTOSAR‑based memory stack software for automotive ECUs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate AUTOSAR Memory Stack modules (NvM, MemIf, Fee, Ea, Fls, Eep) for ECU applications.
• Implement embedded C software following AUTOSAR architecture and MISRA C guidelines.
• Ensure reliable non‑volatile data management, data integrity and fault recovery mechanisms.
• Perform debugging, root‑cause analysis and develop unit tests.
• Collaborate with system, Basic Software (BSW), hardware, functional safety and validation teams.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain compliance with coding standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technical discussions with customers.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in embedded software development for automotive applications.
• Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic Platform and its Basic Software layers.
• Hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR Memory Stack modules and integration with the Runtime Environment.
• Understanding of microcontroller flash, EEPROM, data flash and NOR memory technologies.
