Senior EHS Manager – Airport Projects

About the role

The Senior EHS Manager will lead Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS) across multiple airport development projects, ensuring safe execution of construction activities within operational airport environments while meeting statutory, regulatory and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project EHS Management Plan, Safety Management System and Environmental Management Framework.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses and implement mitigation measures for high‑risk airport construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with aviation, health, safety and environmental regulations and monitor contractor EHS performance.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions to achieve zero‑harm objectives.
• Coordinate with airport operators, ATC, security agencies and regulatory authorities on all EHS matters.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of EHS management experience on major infrastructure or airport projects.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in aviation‑related construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Occupational Health & Safety; Master’s preferred.
• Professional safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP or equivalent.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Familiarity with aviation safety standards and airport operational requirements.
• Experience with digital safety reporting systems, dashboards and analytics tools.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, JSA and behavioural safety programmes.
