Senior Director of Product Management – AI & Data Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, roadmap and execution of our AI & Data Platform capabilities across India. Reporting to global product leadership, you will act as the senior product voice for the region, working in a hybrid setting from Bangalore, Hyderabad or Pune.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for Fabric, AI & Data Governance, and Capacity & Cost Intelligence.
• Conduct deep customer and market discovery to translate high‑value problems into scalable platform solutions.
• Define clear product requirements (PRDs, user stories, success metrics) to enable rapid engineering delivery.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment with Engineering, Architecture, Go‑to‑Market and Customer Success teams.
• Represent India within a globally distributed organization and influence senior stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach product managers across the India team to raise product management excellence.

Required profile

• 12+ years of product management experience, with significant exposure to enterprise data platforms, cloud infrastructure or AI/ML tooling.
• Proven end‑to‑end ownership of complex product portfolios, from strategy through execution.
• Strong technical depth in modern data architectures such as data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, streaming and hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders in a global, matrixed organization.
• Experience mentoring product managers and building high‑performing product teams.

Required skills

• Data‑governance and FinOps expertise.
• Familiarity with tools such as Collibra, Alation and Apache Atlas.
• Knowledge of open data formats like Iceberg, Delta Lake and Hudi.
• Understanding of cloud‑native analytics services and consumption‑based SaaS/PaaS business models.
• Exposure to AI/ML platform components including MLOps, feature stores and LLM infrastructure.
