Senior Director - Ecommerce

About the role

WPP Media is seeking a Senior Director to lead the development and adoption of ecommerce products, tools, and frameworks that drive planning, activation, measurement and operational efficiency for our clients. This senior position bridges strategy, technology, data and activation teams to deliver scalable solutions that accelerate commerce growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define product road‑maps and build commerce tools, dashboards and planning frameworks aligned with client and internal team needs.
• Drive adoption and enablement of product solutions through training, structured roll‑outs and continuous support.
• Integrate products into planning, activation and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and standardisation.
• Develop measurement frameworks and reporting solutions that generate performance insights and optimisation opportunities.
• Identify gaps, test new features and scale successful innovations across the client portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with strategy, technology and client teams to ensure relevance and impact of product offerings.
• Manage and evolve third‑party commerce technology partnerships.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in ecommerce, digital product or commerce‑tech roles.
• Proven track record building or scaling tools, dashboards or planning frameworks.
• Strong understanding of marketplace, retail media and direct‑to‑consumer ecosystems.
• Structured, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
