Senior DevOps Engineer – Storage Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer to design, automate and operate large‑scale software‑defined storage and Kubernetes platforms in a private cloud environment. The role combines deep storage engineering with infrastructure‑as‑code and GitOps practices to deliver scalable, resilient, high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, automate and operate software‑defined storage architectures across private and public cloud regions following ITIL methodology.
• Support enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage, HPE, NetApp) and SDS solutions such as Ceph and Longhorn.
• Integrate self‑service storage workflows for Kubernetes CSI and OpenStack consumers.
• Implement and manage backup solutions, preferably Rubrik.
• Build Infrastructure‑as‑Code for storage using Ansible, Terraform, Helm and Git, with Python/Bash automation.
• Create CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure updates, patching, testing and rollback.
• Develop monitoring, alerting and observability for storage systems using Prometheus, Loki and Grafana.
• Perform deep troubleshooting across storage, Kubernetes, hypervisors, networking and Linux systems.
• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks and participate in on‑call rotations.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience managing enterprise storage and Kubernetes platforms on Linux.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SDS solutions (Ceph, Longhorn) and storage migrations.
• Expertise in block, file and object storage, including Fibre Channel (Cisco MDS) and NVMe‑oF or iSCSI.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) and scripting in Python and Bash (Golang a plus).
• Experience operating 24×7 mission‑critical production environments and working with KVM hypervisors (Suse Harvester, OpenStack).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
