Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

IC Markets Global is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and manage scalable, secure and high-performance cloud infrastructure for its mission-critical trading platforms. The role focuses on AWS services, container orchestration and event-driven architectures, working closely with cloud architects, software engineers and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate highly available, fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK.
• Automate deployments and updates through CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, Jenkins, Octopus, Bamboo).
• Deploy, manage and optimise containerised workloads on ECS, EKS (Kubernetes) and Fargate, ensuring cost-efficiency and performance.
• Build event-driven systems with EventBridge, SNS, SQS, Lambda and real-time data pipelines using Kinesis and DynamoDB Streams.
• Implement security best practices, IAM policies, network architecture (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway) and compliance controls.
• Set up monitoring, logging and incident response using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, X-Ray and OpenSearch.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or SRE roles, preferably with Java application deployments.
• Proven track record designing, deploying and managing distributed, high-availability environments.
• Strong collaboration skills with architects, developers and security teams.
