Senior Developer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with 8‑10 years of experience, preferably in the healthcare domain, who possesses a strong understanding of both front‑end and back‑end technologies. The ideal candidate should have experience in cloud platforms, DevOps, databases, and Agile methodologies. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining healthcare software solutions that are robust, scalable, and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable front‑end and back‑end applications.
• Work with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js and backend technologies like Node.js.NET, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support front‑end integrations.
• Ensure healthcare applications comply with standards such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, HITECH, and ICD.
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and implement CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Design, manage, and optimise relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum/Kanban teams, participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and enforce coding best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years proven experience within a healthcare environment.
• Hands‑on experience with PACS, HIS and EMR systems.
• Strong SQL skills, experience with MS SQL Server, Transact‑SQL, triggers, stored procedures and schema design.
• Excellent technical communication, problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• High self‑motivation, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and willingness to work occasional off‑hours for migrations.
