Senior Designer - BIM Substation

About the role

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking a Senior Designer specialized in BIM for substation projects to work in Bengaluru/Gurugram. The role involves delivering high‑quality 3‑D models and supporting design teams across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex BIM or Plant Data Centric assignments using platforms such as Revit, Intergraph SmartPlant, Plant 3D, etc., to meet project deadlines.
• Provide training and technical support to design staff on the BIM system and ensure 3‑D models comply with project specifications.
• Direct project support and production for assigned projects, creating drawings that meet standards and content requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or BE in Electrical & Electronics with more than 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience working on substation projects.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BIM tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, ProjectWise, BIM 360.
• Experience with Intergraph SmartPlant.
