Senior Designer - BIM (Bridges)

About the role

The Senior Designer – BIM (Bridges) will join AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team in Bengaluru to lead the creation and coordination of detailed bridge models. The role supports global project delivery by ensuring high‑quality BIM outputs that meet client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for bridge projects using Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks and related tools.
• Produce accurate drawings, schedules and reports aligned with project specifications.
• Maintain model integrity, ensure compliance with BIM standards and Level of Detail requirements, and coordinate multidisciplinary models.

Required profile

• Recognized diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in structural engineering modelling and detailing, focusing on bridges.
• Proven expertise with Revit Structures, AutoCAD and BIM collaboration platforms such as ProjectWise and BIM 360/ACC.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and ability to create custom families and templates.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with bridge detailing in AutoCAD and steel‑bridge modelling.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, model coordination and Level of Detail (LOD) requirements.
• Familiarity with ProjectWise, BIM 360/ACC.
