Senior Deliverability Strategist – US Time Zone

About the role

BlueConic is seeking a Senior Deliverability Strategist to lead the customer‑facing side of email deliverability for its Success Services team. Working US business hours from Pune, you will guide customers through onboarding, warm‑up, audits, remediation and ongoing inbox‑placement strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own onboarding and IP/domain warm‑up for customers migrating to BlueConic.
• Lead comprehensive deliverability audits and produce prioritized remediation reports.
• Act as escalation point for spam complaints, blocklistings and ISP blocks, driving real‑time resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with mailbox providers, blocklist operators and industry bodies, negotiating on customers’ behalf.
• Advise customers on email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI) setup and troubleshooting.
• Partner with the Lead Deliverability Analyst to align strategy with technical execution.
• Analyse deliverability data (bounce logs, reputation, seed tests) to triage issues and guide customers.
• Prepare and present monthly business reviews, deliverability reports and executive readouts.
• Mentor junior strategists and contribute to playbooks and tooling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on, customer‑facing email deliverability experience.
• Proven track record of leading ISP remediation and mediation.
• Fluent professional English, both spoken and written.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client meetings and reporting.
• Self‑directed, able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Based in Pune and able to work U.S. business hours, with flexibility for other zones.

Required skills

• Email authentication protocols: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, BIMI.
• DNS management and IP reputation monitoring.
• Deliverability tooling such as eDataSource/Validity and Google Postmaster Tools.
• Sending platforms: SparkPost, SendGrid, Mailgun.
• Enterprise ESPs: Iterable, Braze, Adobe Campaign, Eloqua, Responsys, Sailthru, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Understanding of CAN‑SPAM, CASL, GDPR, CCPA compliance.
• Basic SQL or scripting for data analysis (optional).
