Senior Debt Capital Markets Lawyer – Mumbai

About the role

Trilegal is seeking a Senior Debt Capital Markets Lawyer to join its Mumbai office. The role involves advising clients on domestic and cross‑border debt capital market transactions, including bond and debenture issuances.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on structuring, documentation, and execution of debt capital market deals.
• Draft, review, and negotiate offering memoranda, transaction documents, and ancillary agreements.
• Provide regulatory guidance under SEBI, RBI, Companies Act, FEMA and related securities laws.
• Conduct legal due diligence and identify transactional risks.
• Liaise with clients, investment banks, trustees, regulators, auditors and international counsel throughout the deal lifecycle.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 5–8 years of experience in debt capital markets.
