Senior Data Engineer

About the role

NovintiX is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate data pipelines that support supply‑chain analytics across its global client base. You will work closely with supply‑chain, logistics and IT teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines for inventory, shipping, procurement and related supply‑chain data.
• Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes on cloud platforms.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security and compliance with governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics requirements and develop predictive models for demand forecasting and supply‑chain optimization.
• Create visual dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and QlikSense.
• Integrate data from ERP, PLM and other enterprise systems and expose it via APIs.
• Communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and support cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, Java, SQL, Spark SQL.
• Data technologies: Hadoop, PySpark, NoSQL databases.
• Data visualization: Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense.
• Cloud platforms: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, AWS.
