Senior Data Engineer I

About the role

The Senior Data Engineer I will work closely with clients to provide high‑level technical consulting, configure the elluminate® platform, and lead projects that span trial configuration, quality control, and custom analytics development within the clinical biometrics space.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements, configure elluminate® and oversee trial configuration, quality control, and project management.
• Design, develop, test and deploy efficient SQL code for SDTM, custom reports and visualizations using MS SQL, elluminate® Mapper and Qlik.
• Provide technical guidance, training and support to team members and end‑users.
• Manage multiple timelines and deliverables across single or multiple clients.
• Debug ETL and analytical issues, ensuring compliance with SOPs and industry quality standards.
• Facilitate client onboarding workshops and training sessions on the elluminate® platform.
• Create and maintain specifications, quality control documents and support tickets.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in services or consulting, with strong background in database design and development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific, technical or business discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in the life‑sciences or pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with clinical trial data standards (CDISC, SDTM/ADaM) is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
