Senior Counter Executive – Retail Operations

About the role

The Senior Counter Executive is the first point of contact for walk‑in customers at Blue Dart retail counters. You will deliver professional, efficient and customer‑centric service by handling shipment bookings, enquiries, documentation, payments and tracking while upholding the Blue Dart brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet walk‑in customers, understand their shipping needs and recommend appropriate Blue Dart products and services.
• Process domestic and international shipments, generate labels, invoices and receipts, and ensure accurate data entry in operational systems.
• Handle cash, card and digital payments, perform daily cash balancing, and reconcile collections according to company policies.
• Provide shipment status updates, resolve queries or complaints, and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and improve Net Promoter Score.
• Maintain a clean, well‑stocked counter, manage consumables, and ensure compliance with SOPs, statutory guidelines and security procedures.
• Coordinate with branch operations, customer service and logistics teams to ensure seamless shipment processing and support peak‑hour traffic.
