Senior Consultant – Veeva Safety Implementation

About the role

Veeva is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to lead the implementation of its Vault Safety solution for biopharmaceutical customers. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, guiding workshops, designing solutions, and ensuring successful adoption of the SaaS platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business workshops to gather and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Design solutions that meet both expressed customer needs and anticipated future requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the configuration team to develop the solution.
• Serve as the primary liaison between implementation teams, customer stakeholders, and Veeva product groups.
• Provide expert advisory on data migration activities.
• Guide customers in adopting Vault best practices and industry standards.
• Drive change‑management methodology for transitions from on‑premises to SaaS.

Required profile

• 10+ years of life‑sciences experience, primarily in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance consulting.
• Deep knowledge of safety processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high‑satisfaction outcomes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of project time.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Required skills

• Complex SQL query development on safety data sets.
• PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with safety systems such as Argus, Aris, Emperica, Commonwealth, RxLogix.
• Familiarity with Veeva Vault Safety platform.
