Senior Consultant – System Platform / UOM

About the role

AVEVA is looking for a Senior Consultant to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of Unified Operations Center (UOC) systems across complex, multi‑domain infrastructures. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on engineering in SCADA, PLC and HMI environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration and deployment of Wonderware SCADA, System Platform and InTouch solutions.
• Gather requirements, coordinate with stakeholders and travel as needed for project delivery.
• Integrate multiple PLC, DCS and RTU platforms, including third‑party devices.
• Create HMI/UI graphics, map IOs and develop control logic.
• Perform installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, migrations, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret P&ID, flow charts, cause‑and‑effect and Boolean logic diagrams.
• Provide networking support (Ethernet, serial, wireless) and configure industrial communication protocols.

Required profile

• 9‑12 years of experience in industrial automation, SCADA and control systems.
• Proven expertise with Wonderware SCADA, System Platform, InTouch, PLCs, HMIs and DCS.
• Strong understanding of the SCADA development lifecycle and third‑party integration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for requirement gathering and project execution.
